
White Point dive is one of the most interesting dive sites in LA. It features white bacterial mats on the bottom and is near the hypo-thermal hot springs. This dive site features an old shipwreck as well as rock reefs and kelp. These are all common sights. The best time to dive is at high tide.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo (La) is a California State Park located on the southern coast, Los Angeles County. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. Scuba divers can find plenty of opportunities to explore the pristine waters off the coast of Leo Carrillo State Park.
Divers have the option to choose from three main sites at Leo Carrillo. These sites are excellent for beginners with easy entry points. There is ample parking. These sites are also popular for night diving, lobster hunting, and you'll find plenty of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island is home of some amazing offshore dive sites. To reach these sites, visitors can board a visiting boat. These sites are usually rocky and are good hunting and photography grounds. These areas also contain healthy kelp plants and purple-colored hydro coral. The visibility is also excellent for Southern California waters.
The island offers kayaking and snorkeling for visitors. You can also tent camp if the weather is good. A large pinniped population also calls the island home, including harbor seals, northern elephant seals, and California sea lions. These animals can often be seen around the sealion rookery and at several overlooks.
Anacapa Island
Anacapa Island supports a wide variety marine life. One of the United States’ first Marine Protected Areas has been established in this area. This area offers great diving for both beginners and seasoned divers. The warm waters of the island make it an ideal place to dive in a wetsuit. In late summer and autumn, the surface temperatures can reach 70°F (21°C). In winter, temperatures may drop as low to 50 degrees F (10oC). A 7mm wetsuit should be used. These months are when visibility is generally at least 100 feet (30M).
You can reach Anacapa by diving charter boats as well as the Island Packers. There are numerous dive sites available on the island, including a 40-foot-tall arch rock. You can also view these sites from the surface of the water using snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park
Veteran's Park is a Green Space on Ocean Drive that has a playground and fields. This is a great spot for families to enjoy time together. It is also close to the beaches. It offers great views of the ocean from the park on sunny days. It's open all year round and has lots to offer.
It is easy to reach the parking area. If you're a first-time diver, Veteran's Park is the best place to start your diving adventure. It's easy to reach with parking and restrooms. The meter will always be checked and there's an outdoor shower where you can wash your gear. There's also a changing room, but the bathrooms close at dusk.
