White Point dive is one of the most interesting dive sites in LA. It is located close to hypo-thermal hotsprings and features white bacterial moss. The dive site also features an old shipwreck, rock reef, and kelp beds. You will also see giant sea stars and urchins. High tide is best for diving.

Leo Carillo

Leo Carrillo (La) is a California State Park located on the southern coast, Los Angeles County. It is located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and has 1.5 miles of sandy beach that extends into Santa Monica Mountains. You will find many opportunities to dive in the clear waters off Leo Carrillo State Park.

Divers can choose between three main dive spots at Leo Carrillo. These sites are ideal for beginners as they have easy entry points and ample parking. You can also go night diving or lobster hunting at these sites, and you will find lots of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island

Santa Barbara Island boasts some of the best offshore diving sites. Visitors can hop on a visiting boat to get out to these dive sites. These sites are usually rocky and are good hunting and photography grounds. These areas are also home to many healthy kelp bed and purple hydro Coral. Moreover, the visibility here is excellent for Southern California waters.


Visitors to the island can also take part in snorkeling and kayaking. You can even tent camp, if the weather allows. It is also home to large numbers of pinnipeds such as harbor seals, northern Elephant seals, and California Sea Lions. These animals can also be found in the rocky areas around a sea lion rookery. They are located at many overlooks on island.

Anacapa Island

There is a wide variety of marine life on Anacapa Island. The area is also home to one the United States's first Marine Protected Areas. The region offers diving that is not only great for beginners but also for seasoned divers. The waters around the island have a moderately warm temperature, which makes them ideal for wetsuit diving. In the autumn and summer, temperatures can easily reach 70° F (21°C). However, temperatures in winter can fall as low at 50 degrees F (10 degrees Celsius). It is recommended that you use a 7mm waterproof suit. These months are when visibility is generally at least 100 feet (30M).

Access to Anacapa's dive site can be made by charter boats or the Island Packers. The island has many dive spots, including an arch rock that is 40 feet tall. These sites can be viewed by snorkeling gear.

Veteran's park

Veteran's Park, a Green Space located on Ocean Drive, has a playground as well as fields. This is a great place to bring your family together. It's also near the beaches. It offers great views of the ocean from the park on sunny days. It's open all year round and has lots to offer.

It is easy to reach the parking area. Veteran's Park makes it an ideal location to start your diving adventure. It is easily accessible with restrooms and parking. The meter is always checked, and there is also an outdoor shower for rinse gear. A changing area is available in the park, with restrooms being close to dusk.
