Dive instructors may also be responsible for directing certified divers through scuba review courses. The legal responsibility of dive instructors varies from country to country. Certification requirements
To become a Divemaster, you will need to take a course. Divemaster classes cover topics such as managing divers, setting up dive sites, and finding the best flow. The minimum number of dives candidates need to have completed must be at least 60. Divemasters can assist novice divers with theory and skills, as well as assisting instructors during dive courses.
Divemasters must take two-part exams in addition to the courses. Candidates must score at minimum 75% in each section to pass the exam. Internship requirements
There are various internship options to become a Divemaster. You can help with other PADI courses or set up dive sites depending on your preferences. You may also be required to assist with skill circuits. The internship will follow a specific pattern. An internship typically lasts for eight weeks. During this period, you may be able to become an Advanced Open Water Diver. After four to 6 weeks of training you can become an Advanced Open Water Diver or Divemaster.
In addition to the paid internships, you may find a free internship option for a Dive master. While free internship options are not ideal, you will have a lot of time to study and get advice from a Divemaster. Your internship may include the opportunity to obtain manuals and certification as well as equipment. You must also know the requirements for enrolling in any Divemaster course.
