You might want to get a PADI certification to become certified as a diver. There are many levels of PADI training available. The course typically includes three components: an online selfstudy module to learn the basics of diving theory; confined water diving to enhance your equipment comfort; and open water dives to put what you have learned into practice. PADI certifications can be a great way for beginners or experienced divers to get started.

NAUI
There are many differences among the NAUI Certification charts and PADI. There are major differences in the certification requirements and teaching methods. These differences can make a big difference in a diver's ability level. The best way for you to determine which certification is right for you depends on how you feel about diving and what your physical capabilities are.
CMAS
CMAS padi certifications are slightly different to PADI's. Although they may be similar in many aspects, the certifications offered by both agencies differ. CMAS requires four dives, and you must dive to 18 m. PADI, on the other hand, requires five.
