Scuba Diving St Lucia

St Lucia offers many great scuba diving opportunities. Trou Diable is also available. Anse Chastanet, Trou Diable and Anse Cochon North & South all make excellent scuba diving locations. Because of its strong currents, this plateau is great for drift diving. This area will have large shoals for fish and nurse sharks.

Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet is a popular spot for scuba diving in St Lucia. You will find unusual marine life here. It is home to more than 150 species of fish and stretches to 20 to 140 feet deep. It's also a popular place for underwater photographers.

The Anse Chastanet resort is located in an idyllic setting near the Pitons and close to the island's best reefs. The resort was established in 1968. There are now 48 rooms, with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding areas. It is located between two steep hillsides and two ridges. This gives it a breathtaking location.

Ansechastanet is the ideal spot to enjoy scuba dive in St Lucia. Guests have the option to take advantage the resort's custom-built trails or take yoga classes. They can also sail the resort’s sailing yacht at sunset. You can also relax in one of the many hammocks on the beach and take guided walks and hikes through the six-acre estate.


Trou Diable

When planning a scuba diving trip to St Lucia, one of the best places to visit is the beautiful Trou Diable. This dive site is 40ft deep and has a beautiful coral reef. Divers have the option to circle the reef 100ft below the surface to view a variety turtles and tropical fish.

Saint Lucia offers many diving opportunities, no matter if you are an expert diver or newbie. The east coast has excellent coral reefs. Both the north and south end are ideal due to the protection from the easterly trade winds as well as potentially dangerous wave conditions. A number of skilled divers are also found in Saint Lucia. Anse Cochon North & South

Anse Cochon North & South Reef are two dive sites that can be explored by scuba divers. Both sites are easily accessible from the beach. They range in depth from 10 to 40ft. They are both great for beginners and experienced divers. The northern reef is home for more coral, but there are plenty of reef fish at both ends. You will see octopus, sea whips, trumpetfish and sea whips.

Anse Cochon's south end is home to the Lesleen M, an abandoned cargo ship. The Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia used it as an artificial reef in 1986. The wreck is now surrounded with seagrass beds which attract many types of fish. Barracudas and stingrays could also be seen at the wreck.
