PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response(EFR+CFC), course prepares individuals for situations in which they may need first aid. The course can only be completed if you have the necessary equipment. Content

EFR courses are a great way for you to increase your self-confidence and be more prepared to deal with emergency situations. The course teaches simple procedures for emergency care and gives participants hands-on practice in a stress-free environment. Self-study books, video demonstrations, quick reference cards, and video tutorials are included in the course materials. It meets all the requirements to be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and professional rating.

CPR, rescue breathing techniques, scene assessment, basic first aid, and CPR are all covered. Participants will also learn how to treat common dive injuries. You will also learn how to bandage, splint and prevent infection. Students also learn how protect themselves against dangerous pathogens. This course allows you to respond to potentially life-threatening situations and save lives!

Pre-requisites

PADI Emergency First Reaction course is a one-day course that teaches participants how to respond quickly to a life-threatening medical emergency. The program includes skills and classroom training as well real-life practice. There are no age or pre-requisites required.

Non-divers as well divers can take the course. The course covers CPR and first assistance emergencies. With quick reference cards and videos, participants will learn how to react quickly and effectively in such situations. This course meets all requirements for PADI Rescue Diver, as well as professional levels of PADI Scuba Diver. PADI instructors are also certified to teach Emergency First Response.

Requirements

Emergency First Response training builds confidence and prepares participants to help others in an emergency. The course teaches vital skills like CPR, first aid and primary care and stresses the importance of minimizing risk. Non-divers will also benefit from the course, which will prepare them to respond in an emergency.


Students can sit for the PADI Instructor examination after completing the EFRI Program. Each course of the EFRI program starts with the prefix EFRI. They are numbered sequentially. Each course lasts one clock hour, including 55 minutes of class time and five minutes of break time.

Refresher Course

EFR Refresher Course is for people who want a refresher course. The course consists of two parts: a Skill Development session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. The refresher course will teach you the most recent developments in CPR and first aid. AED use will also be covered. You will also learn how you can instruct others to perform these skills when needed.

This course will help you to improve your skills and prepare for the PADI Rescue Diver course. It also fulfills requirements for Professional Rescue Diver training and other courses requiring CPR. It includes an Emergency First Response video, which assists participants in preparing for emergencies and previewing the skills they will be practicing during the skills training session.

Cost

The half-day Emergency First Respond course teaches skills needed in emergency situations. It includes classroom lessons and video presentations. This course is a prerequisite for PADI certification. The course is approximately 6,900 THB for each person. This fee includes the PADI certification fees for two years and the training manual.

The PADI Emergency First Responder course will train you in CPR and rescue breathing as well as scene assessment and monitoring a victim's condition. This course also teaches you how first aid can be applied to common diving injuries. You will also learn about bandaging, protection from pathogens, and splinting. PADI issues the certification.
