The TDI Advanced Nitrox course introduces advanced diving techniques for recreational Nitrox divers. The course covers equipment use, gas switching, advanced emergency techniques and lift bag deployment. For more information, please visit the TDI Website.

TDI Intro course in Tech

The TDI Intro to Tech training course is a standalone course that will help you improve your recreational training as well as gain a deeper understanding of advanced technical skills. It can also be used to introduce you to TDI’s advanced courses like Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures. Alternatively, it can serve as a refresher for those who have already taken technical courses. TDI technical instructors can evaluate your skills during the course.

The TDI Intro to Tech course can be used by divers who haven't dived before with twin cylinders and a wing. This course covers advanced buoyancy control as well as gas management. Students will also acquire situational awareness and trim skills. The course is taught in the sea or in open cenotes that offer conditions similar to swimming pools. You will also learn advanced gas planning techniques. This course will help you improve your open-water diving skills and teach you how to use technical equipment. You will also learn advanced gas planning techniques. This course is not for decompression, but you can use enriched air-nitrox mixtures during it.

TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course

TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures classes prepare divers for accelerated, staged and controlled decompression. The course covers advanced gas planning, management and safety techniques. Students also learn how to manage their equipment and plan for contingencies. The TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures course includes four dives to a maximum depth 40m (130ft).

This course can be taken separately or as part a certification in Advanced Nitrox or Decompression Procedures. Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures are performance-based courses that last for four days. Sixteen dives are required and two of the dives must be below 30 meters. The course is tailored to the students' experience and individual needs. This course prepares students to dive in advanced technical conditions, including wrecks in Scapa Flow or the UK.

PADI Tec Trimix course

The PADI Tec Trimix90 course is the final part of the PADI Technical Divers open circuit. This certification course opens doors to deeper dives and allows divers to discover new places. This course is intended for experienced tec divers looking to increase their skills and explore deeper areas. In order to be certified in trimix diving, you must have a valid diver license and have undergone a medical examination. For this certification, you need two 30cf stage bottles and a face mask.

PADI Tec Trimix 65 divers must have logged at most 350 dives. This includes at least 50 dives with a trimix of less than 21 per cent oxygen. Technical diving techniques and protocols are also covered in the course. This course includes many teaching scenarios. It is considered the most advanced course in technical dive certification. However, it is worth noting that the requirements are more demanding than the standard PADI Tec Diver course.

PADI Tec Deep Diver course

PADI Deep Diver certification is for recreational divers. This certification allows for four dives. You will also be able to use technical dive equipment such as a EANx or side-mounted cylinder. The course will also teach you how to plan deep dives, and manage your gas supply. It's possible to take your lessons online or offline, and the PADI Tec eLearning program allows you to do it at your own pace.

The program can be completed in as little as two years, which is a marked improvement on the PADI courses. First, you'll need to get a Tec 50 diving certification from an authorized organization. The certification must include technical deep diving, pure oxygen diving, and decompression diving to 50 metres. The Tec Deep Instructor course is also offered by the PADI Course Directors. Upon successful completion of the Tec Deep Instructor Course, the PADI course director will issue you a Tec Deep Diver certificate.
